 ABSTRACT

Multi-institution clinical imaging trials are now very common. The RSNA’s Medical Imaging Resource Center (MIRC) project has developed software to make it easy to install and run a system that provides acquisition of images and data objects at field imaging centers, anonymization and remapping of protected health information (PHI), transmission to principal investigator sites, storage and management of the data, and forwarding of it to analytical systems, including workstations, PACS, and databases. The system has also been used within research institutions to solve networking, security, and access logging problems. The purpose of this course is to teach participants how to obtain and run this software to create their own systems using the RSNA’s software
