Plenary Sessions are highlights of the RSNA annual meeting. These sessions are open to all registrants and are scheduled throughout the week. Keynote addresses, annual orations, interpretation sessions, and special symposia are offered in the plenary session format. Plenary Sessions also provide the opportunity to recognize grant and award recipients and to honor individuals who have made important contributions to radiology. Location and times as noted.
RSNA and the SIR Foundation present a 4 ½ day Interventional Oncology Symposium that explores the state-of-the-art clinical and basic science of interventional oncology.
Scientific Paper presentations are completed hypothesis-driven research with a comprehensive report, a work-in-progress report of ongoing research of emerging ideas and techniques and containing initial yet defined results, or a brief pertinent report of a particular new aspect or understanding of clinical radiology.

Education Exhibits should be designed to teach or review radiologic signs, pathologic correlations, procedures, techniques, treatments, and interventions or other aspects related to the practice of imaging. They can include a single or multi-modality approach. Exhibits allow attendees to study a display or computer exhibit and return to it later in the week. Exhibts are located on Level 3 Lakeside center, 8:00am - 6:00pm Sun, 7:00am - 10:00pm Mon - Thu, and 7:00am - 12:45pm Fri. Select exhibits are available for category 1 CME. The infoRAD demonstration area showcases computer applications in radiologic education and information management. These are non-proprietary computer-based demonstrations of the management and communications of images and data for patient care and professional education.
