Responsible for monitoring and interacting with the 11 associations that represent the various disciplines that function within the radiology department, this committee recommends policies and programs to the Board of Directors and implements activities approved by the Board. The chairman of this committee also serves as the chairman of the Associated Sciences Consortium, whose members are listed following the members of the committee. Projects undertaken in the past several years by the committee and consortium include the production and publication of the radiation biology syllabus, coordination of a student radiographers theater at the annual meeting, and sponsorship of an annual workshop and refresher course programming at the annual meeting.
